Corneal Cross-Linking is a procedure which uses UV light and a Vitamin B photosensitizer to age and strengthen chemical bonds in the cornea. By strengthening the chemical bonds, we are able to slow down/stop the progression of irregular changes in the corneal shape, thus potentially making the cornea more receptive to other methods of vision correction.
